Can a soldier be as powerful as an F-16? We find out in Ubisoft Paris’ latest installment in the Ghost Recon series.
The ability to be invisible has long been a dream of government scientists, keen to get the upper hand on their enemies. In the world of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, that dream has become a reality. Cloaking devices that distort light, mechanical exoskeletons that double strength, and modular assault rifles that adapt to any situation are just some of the high-tech devices that developer Ubisoft Paris has included in its new squad-based third-person shooter. “War has changed,” according to producer Jean Bernard Jacon, who claims that “the soldier of the future is an F-16 on legs.” From our first look at the game, it’s clear that Jacon’s description isn’t far off the mark. These soldiers pack a serious amount of heat, and they mean business.
Nvidia releases the GeForce GTX 480 and GeForce GTX 470. They’re scorchers in more than one way.
Nvidia has been noticeably absent from the video card scene over the past few months. In the meantime, ATI launched an entire DirectX11 lineup, top to bottom, and then had time to funnel some chips into the notebook scene. The Santa Clara GPU manufacturer should have combated ATI’s Radeon 5000 series months ago, but delays tripped them up a bit. To make sure they weren’t forgotten completely, Nvidia released details about the Fermi chip a few months back. The company now has the hardware to back up the paper. Nvidia unveiled the GeForce GTX 480 and the GeForce GTX 470, high-end cards that pack a big fiery punch in many ways. Unfortunately (also in a rather papery way) the cards won’t hit retail until April 12.

Chun-cha the caterpillar
Chun-cha was looking for a friend to play with, along came another caterpillar that was looking for a friend also. Chun-cha asked “what’s your name?” “Um um I don’t know said the other caterpillar.
The other caterpillar was sad that he lost his memory. So Chun-cha tried to cheer him up, but it never worked. Chun-cha tried something different, she wanted to take the caterpillar to the Wizard of Wishes, and the other caterpillar wanted to go. They took a long journey to the Wizard of Wishes.
When they went through the woods on their way a giant bee soared down and snatched the other caterpillar, but not Chun-cha. Chun-cha went to the bees nest before they ate him alive. Chun-cha very nicely asked “May I please have my friend back?” the bees replied “Ok I guess, I did take your friend, I’m sorry, can you guys forgive me?” Chun-cha replied, “sure only if you give us a ride to the Wizard of Wishes.
They were on their way to the Wizard of Wishes. When they arrived Chun-cha said “please give my friend his memory back.” The Wizard replied “I sure will!”
The End
Happily ever after

I am a subscriber to Game Informer magazine. There was an article in it that I thought I would share. As of now this is a RUMOR, but almost everything I have read in Game Informer has been true.
“Just when you thought you might be getting tired of Left 4 Dead 2 (or the original Left 4 Dead if you’re one of those whiny petitioning brats), Valve proves that it isn’t going to let you rest for a second. Read the rest of this entry »
