The Black Hats’ online gaming community is dedicated to providing a mature and friendly experience for everyone who visits our servers or website. Our members currently participate in multiple types of online games, including FPS, MMORPGs, racing simulators and sports games. About _-=BH=-_ Originally started 2002 as a gaming clan it was later decided that winning at all costs and recruiting based solely on ability was not the way to have a successful and long lasting organization. Skill level is still something that is looked at but the main requirement to be invited into the BH community was changed and is now based on maturity level. Here, all members have a voice and can make productive recommendations on how to improve the community as a whole. We do not care what sex or race you are. Our goal is to provide escape from lifes' drama with gaming, comedy and camaraderie. The Blackhats have been together for so many years because we understand that although specific games come and go... clans are about people and friendships. We will always strive to be the “ONE CLAN TO RULE THEM ALL”. History behind the name The Black Hat Brigade was a division in the Mid-West during the American Civil War. They were called this due to the large black Hardee Hats that they wore into battle. They would be later called the Iron Brigade because they "stood like Iron" in the face of withering enemy fire.

In order to honor military families, Electronic Arts' upcoming shooter Medal of Honor reboot will not be sold or advertised at military-based Gamestop stores, the Army and Air Force Exchange Service confirmed to IGN.
"Out of respect to those we serve, we will not be stocking this game," said AAFES Commander Maj. Gen. Bruce Casella in a statement.
"We regret any inconvenience this may cause authorized shoppers, but are optimistic that they will understand the sensitivity to the life and death scenarios this product presents as entertainment. As a military command with a retail mission, we serve a very unique customer base that has, or possibly will, witness combat in real life."
This move impacts all Army and Air Force Exchange operations worldwide, including AAFES' website and on-base/post GameStop locations. All pre-orders and reservations placed online will be canceled. Pre-orders placed through GameStop locations on Army and Air Force installations will be transferred to off-base ones.
Controversy arose last month when it was discovered the game allowed players to assume the role of Taliban members in its multiplayer mode.
Electronic Arts has not responded to requests for comment at this time. Medal of Honor is currently slated for release on October 12.

To anyone who swore and panicked their way through the original Red Orchestra modification back in 2004, or its commercial release, Red Orchestra: Ostfront, back in 2006, the upcoming sequel Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad should represent a big deal.
To anyone with no idea what Red Orchestra is, let me help out: It’s a multiplayer FPS, set on the Eastern front of World War 2, which captures above all else the grayness and desperation of those nightmare battlefields. Red Orchestra is a game of wincing at suppressive fire, of bayonet attacks, and of struggling to figure out whether that figure is a German or a Russian because muddy gray and muddy brown often look the same in dim lighting.
The sequel’s looking to expand on everything that made the original game great, including its horrific tank combat. Here, we present an exclusive interview with Tripwire President John Gibson, in which he talks freely on the as-of-yesterday unrevealed vehicle combat coming in the sequel.
RPS: You mentioned that you plan to set the standard of tank combat in FPS games for years to come. How, exactly?
Confirmed via twitter.
First off dedis will be rented from GameServers only!
Will also use VAC, which most likely means the game will once again be tied to your account. PC is a steam exclusive as well.

By now you should have read about the new Call of Duty: Black Ops multiplayer modes and improvements and watched the trailer to see Wager Matches in action. After Treyarch and Activision unleashed that info, they gave me a few hours to sit down and try the new modes out and put the whole shebang to the test. Here are five quick thoughts I have now that I've taken Black Ops for a spin.
The RC-XD is Hilarious
You earn the RC-XD, a remote controlled bomb, through kill streaks and in the game variants I played it generally took only a few kills to unlock it. Once you do, prepare for hilarity. The current physics have it bouncing off of walls, taking jumps off of bumps, and generally stumbling and bumbling around until you find an enemy…at which point you'll pull the trigger to detonate the bomb.

Back at Gamescom 2010, a major videogame event in Cologne, Germany, Blizzard held a press conference to break some news about Diablo III. No, it wasn't a release date. It was instead a crafting system, called the Artisan system, which game director Jay Wilson detailed during the hour long session. While Blizzard likely won't be making public any more bits of information about its anticipated action-role-playing game until Blizzcon this year, which takes place at the end of October, we were able to sit down with Wilson to get some additional details about how development was going.
Since most of the publicity about Blizzard over the past few months has been the launch of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty and the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm beta, it was a good time to switch gears and ask about progress on Diablo III. "What we're doing right now is going broad across the whole game," said Wilson. "We're trying to build up all the content to enough of a point where we can get into polishing. We have good examples of what does it look like for monsters when we're at ship level, what does it look like for classes, what does it look like for items, we have the answers to those questions, but there's still some story and questing stuff that's not hitting the quality level that we want, so those are the things we're working on."
