Skyrim's first DLC pack (exclusive, don't you know, to Xbox 360 for 30 days) could involve a trip to Vvardenfell, an island continent in Morrowind formerly ruled by the Dunmer. It could transport us to Cyrodiil's Imperial City, jewel of human civilization. There's some evidence to suggest that a Thalmor conspiracy centring on mysterious bug jars may be integral to the plot.
All Bethesda's saying on the subject, the odd wink or nudge aside, is that Skyrim's DLC packs may draw on ideas shown off in a recent "sizzle reel" (the offerings range from flying vampires to werebears), that some content may be free, and that the packs will be fewer and more substantial than those of previous Bethesda games. Plenty to chew on there, but not a lot that's concrete.

Following the announcement of From Software's fantasy role-playing game Dark Souls for Windows, Namco Bandai revealed some additional details. Previously it was known the PC version, called the Prepare to Die Edition, would include new armor sets, bosses and explorable areas. In an interview with GameSpy, From Software recommended a gamepad to play the PC version and said there won't be much difference visually between the console version and the upcoming PC version.
Along with the Prepare to Die Edition's announcement was the reveal that it would be integrated with Games for Windows Live. According to Namco Bandai's Carlson Choi, that's apparently not a definite thing. Dark Souls was announced for PC in part because of a popular online petition signed by nearly 100,000 fans, and another petition popped up shortly after the announcement requesting GFWL be removed. "Discussion is still going on with the From Software team," Choi told Gamespy when pressed, indicating GFWL may wind up being removed.
Choi mentioned that more may be revealed about the Prepare to Die Edition at E3 2012, which takes place in early June 2012.

Apple CEO Tim Cook was spotted at gaming giant Valve’s headquarters in Washington State late last week, an event that has sparked much speculation and claims from unnamed sources. The former include the idea that Apple is interested in buying Valve, while the latter includes the claim that Apple is working with Valve to reinvent living room gaming.
Valve is a large game publisher with titles like Half-Life, Portal, Counter Strike, and Team Fortress in its portfolio. The company also developed the Steam gaming platform that offers an App Store-like way of buying, managing, and playing a variety of games for Mac and Windows.
So, when Tim Cook is reported to be visiting Valve’s HQ, all manner of flags get raised. Apple has a hit and miss history with gaming that’s really mostly miss. Valve cofounder Gabe Newell himself once lamented that nobody at Apple got gaming, for instance.
The release of the App Store for iPhone changed that, at least to some degree. Games are quite popular for both iPhone and iPad, and in recent years Apple has actually bragged that iPhone and iPod touch was the most popular handheld gaming platform on the planet.

Status Updates are weekly posts made in the community forum where the team share insights into the development of theHunter.
We continue ironing out the last issues and putting on the extra polish of the new Hirschfelden environment, the Roe Deer and the Wild Boar. We plan to release the game update 12th of April. At the same time we will also make the switch to our new data center with more and better servers.
There will be some downtime the 12th when we do the switch. Exactly how long also depends on your ISP (caching of DNS), but expect about 2-3 hours.
Here are some more screenshots of what is coming...

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is all about what's in your wallet. Cash is king and the Dragonborn isn't going anywhere if he doesn't have the funding to do so, so check out Skyrim: How To Make Money and start your Tamriel empire.
As anyone familiar with The Elder Scrolls history will tell you, cash is king. The entire world is built on a currency that can be a challenge to honestly earn. In other words, sometimes you're required to get “creative” when trying to generate the cold hard cash to finance your costly adventures. It's no different in the newest game in the series, as our Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim review will show you. The stakes for making and spending septims couldn't be higher. If you don't keep up with your coin, you risk losing out on game-altering weapons, important training, awesome spells, and exorbitant real estate properties. It doesn't help that Skyrim's scumbag jarl doesn't help you out at all either.
The most frustrating trend I started to notice right away was that most merchants have a limited supply of daily money with which to trade and spend, almost like an allowance. Really, Belethor? Dude, I’ve spent 3000 gold in your crappy General Store on almost every visit and each time I come to sell you my stuff, you've only got a measly 750 on hand? What are you doing with my money?
Grab one of Skyrim's best companions, read Skyrim: How To Make Gold and fund your adventuring for all eternity.

Skyrim DLC is still some of the most sought-after videogame content of 2012 if internet chatter is any indication, but if the wait - and Bethesda's silence - is proving too much to bear, Bethesda has promised you won't have to wait much longer.
Responding to a fan resigned to there being no Skyrim DLC in the wake of New Vegas DLC delays, the developer wrote on Twitter: "Rest assured, it's coming."
Bethesda's Pete Hines previously teased: "Some things coming down the road in April for all you Rage and Skyrim fans. April is gonna have some cool news and surprises. Stay tuned."
Nothing is known about the upcoming DLC, other than it could have something to do with a trademark for 'Dawnguard' and expand to the as yet unused parts of the game map - Morrowind And Cyrodiil.
Both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas DLC included exclusivity deals which saw packs launch on Xbox 360 ahead of PS3 and PC - Bethesda is yet to confirm or deny a similar approach for Skyrim.
